BIOGRAPHY
At the Beginning, Visi
on
Eyes was a simple hardcore band at their very basic foundation but
during early 2001, they had success to fuse between Hardcore energy with
post modern Metal altogether in their music soon after that became
their true Identity in the scene and began expand their strenght across
the country.
In the year of 2003, while their recorded their first E.P. album “ Tears Red Blood “, all the band member decided to left the band and had no interest for the band’s future except Herza that still stood strong and began to recruit a new member, which are bassist Derry, lead guitarist Widya, rhythm guitar Abi, and drummer Anggara but replaced by Aldi in late of 2005.
“ Tears Red Blood “ E.P. that released on 2004 was the beginning of their groundbreaking success in their country that straight brought them in the middle countless concert, show, and tours also strengthened their very honest reputation as a band, who’s success fused hardcore and metal.
In 2007, Vision Eyes started recording a new album “ Shattered Heaven “, but in the process, again, one by one member of Vision Eyes had left the band due their professional work, personal reason and study reason. Without compromise, Herza began to write “ Shattered Heaven “ album all alone by himself, he’s compose the music material, played guitar, bass, drums, vocals, engineer, and mixed also mastering all alone to get recording finished in given times. Soon after recording session is finished, he started to recruit drummer Darwin, bassist Bagoes, lead guitarist Donni, and rhythm guitarist Furkan.
“ At the first, I was very not sure to this album material because it is sound more personal than as a band but this is something I must do to keep this band’s existence than put in it risk. I don’t care if people or everyone said this is a bad idea maybe this is just a bad idea “ Herza’s comment before “ Shattered Heaven ‘ released. But in reality talked different, “ Shattered Heaven “ that released on March 16, 2008 under Evolve Music, Produced by Herza, was finally opened the door to made Vision Eyes became an Indonesian Metal – Core groundbreakers act and the album was in very high expectations too. Although in this album was more furious and more metallic than the predecessor, but honestly show very high transformation into finest Metal – Core act which is put a post modern metal, destructive blows with sense of heaviness yet melodic.
The success of “ Shattered Heaven “ was taking them to their own promo tour, Hardrenaline Tour, Moshpit Mayhem Tour, and Stereoloud Killer Tour across many cities in Indonesia as a first class headliners of all time up until now and began to expanded Vision Eyes name in South East Asia region like Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Manilla.
Initially seen as a fuse of As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, Hatebreed, and Caliban by the critics of media and the people, Vision Eyes didn’t jump on the metal-core bandwagon recently but stay humble to rather led the path and way representing that genre also prove Vision Eyes very existences at home and internationally.
On 2009, Vision Eyes back to their routine in the studio to recording a new album “ The Glorious Evolution “ with a new changing member as lead guitarist Reza replaced Furkan and rhythm guitarist Rendy replaced Donni. Although, many band was infected and affected by a massive trend of deathcore or deathmetal in the times but Vision Eyes stand strong, stay true, and stay more pure in their honest commitment to led a path as a Metal – Core band than had to follow a trend. They gave an answer in “ The Glorious Evolution “ released on Oct 30, 2010, Produced by Herza, the album was totally shows what Vision Eyes truly are, shows their high potential and quality without exception to keep faith and believe in their own path. “ The Glorious Evolution “ are a big evolve and a maturity of their musical baseness that took Vision Eyes to the high level of existences without losing direction, identity, trademark and forget their roots of what they’d started since their declare Vision Eyes name back in 1999.
